Eng Ko Trading started general merchandising with bags and luggage as the major product line. The diverse products and services offered were later streamlined to focus on health care starting 1979.

By the mid-1980's, Eng Ko Trading has been importing medical supplies and equipment from Italy, U.S., Spain, and Taiwan. The modern medical products have been marketed into the country from Manila into other provincial areas nationwide.
